Jeremy Cass has established a distinguished career as a Clinical Psychologist, Lecturer, Clinical Consultant and Supervisor. He has held team leader and senior clinical psychologist positions in two of Melbourne’s leading mental health services and has been in private practice for over 20 years. Jeremy holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology as well as a Graduate Diploma in Health & Sports Psychology.
 
Jeremy is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and The College of Clinical Psychologists. Jeremy is registered with AHPRA and is an endorsed supervisor to other psychologists and provides cost-effective psychological services under Medicare.
 
Jeremy has worked with adults, adolescents and children in psychiatric and community health settings. Adopting the scientist-practitioner model, Jeremy’s training and approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness skills and interventions drawn from positive psychology research.
 
 
His private practice predominantly involves assessment and treatment of individuals who present with a variety of mental health difficulties.  Treatment is usually client-focused individual therapy (CBT & ACT) but at times when indicated may also include parent and family therapy. He works within a solution focussed, strengths based therapeutic framework. He regularly liaises with GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, schools and other community based organisations who may also be involved in the treatment of his clients.
